Have you tried simply asking dad what his medical condition is? There is nothing you can do as far as getting his records…only he can give you those medical records and even if a lawyer tried to subpoena them his doctor would quelch that…

You can’t. There are all kinds of laws protecting this information.
What you can do is have your Mom file against him for child support. If he says he can’t pay child support and gives the reason as a disability, then he will have to give proof of the disability.
You may also just try talking to him and tell him that you really need to know what his diagnosis is because you hear it can be genetic and you want to research on it.

I don’t think you could because they have something called doctor-patient confidentiality.
I would also learn how to spell schizophrenic.
Why do you need them any way?
I would also stay out of his business and maybe ask him if he has any mental health problems.

You would have to have Power of Attorney to get your hands on his records if he is living.

The internet and find out what that drug is used to treat bipolar depression etc.
The medication he takes if you can search on the internet and find out what that you have that you have that drug is used to sign the persons permission whats the persons permission whats the persons permission whats the release.
