Hi,
I am male separated for last 18 months in USA with no kids. I am in New jersey

If I file for divorce on the basis for long separation, Can the spouse create a issue or contest against it. I heard that if we separated for too long, divorce is approved with no issue and souse cant contest against me.

We dont have any records together like address, tax form or joint account together. is this good neough to prove we are separated?

How long will the divorce take place if I file based on separation.
I am planning to file it myself without lawyer. Is the case too complicated to hire a lawyer?

If there is a way to find out if 1 attorney has a better record of wins against another, is there a way to find this out. Also, is a PRENUP 100% written in stone ? after 10 years in the marriage.

He had some sex talk on his cell with his friends wife. It was accidently recorded and I over heard it. He said it was an aweful thing and he told the woman I knew and he supposedly stopped. I run into her alot and I can’t stomach her. She also sent him a recent text about their friendship. Should I just get a Divorce? What do I do? I always feel like he is cheating. He said they never had sex. Soooooo Confused!!!!

Court Order for Military Records?

Natalie M asked:

I am currently trying to subpeona the military records for a prior active duty Marine in regards to a divorce. Although I know I need a court order signed by a judge to obtain said records, are there other forms that should be submitted with the court order? I have a SF 180 form, but I am not sure if it is neccessary. Also, is there anyway to get his service number since I have his ssn? If anyone can answer any of my questions it would be grteatly appreciated. Thanks!
Thank you both very much for your help. My boyfriend actually just finished his active duty with the USMC on the 6th of this month and said that typically the service number is his ssn, but with either a one or zero in front…how would I know whether it was the former or the latter? The Marine’s records that I need finished up his active duty in 2004…so it is pretty recent. Also, would it be best to send my court order to his last duty station or Military Personnel Records in St. Louis?
